A number of individuals and families are embracing Islam around us and at MCNJ as well, Ma’Sha Allah. MCNJ provides support and holds discussions for supporting new Muslim brothers and sisters before and after they solemnly pronounce their Shahadah.
They can have one-on-one discussions and lessons to imbibe knowledge on Islam – Pillars of Islam, The Quran, the Life of Prophet Mohammad (SAW), Family and social life, Culture, and the Life of a Muslim to mention a few. The new Muslim brothers and sisters are also provided with a new Muslim Package with a set of books and necessary items to start practising Islam. We may also nominate a mentor to introduce, discuss, and answer questions on various topics and for general support for learning the basics of Islam, such as wudu, salah, etc.
